TESTING LIMITATIONS

Mold testing provides valuable insight into indoor air quality and possible contamination, but results reflect conditions only at the time samples are collected. Mold levels can change due to humidity, airflow, and environmental conditions, and hidden mold inside walls, ceilings, or other inaccessible areas may not always be detected. Testing should be used alongside a full visual inspection and professional assessment to better understand the condition of the property.

OUTDOOR COMPARISON SAMPLES

Outdoor comparison samples are collected to establish a baseline for naturally occurring mold spores in the environment surrounding the property. By comparing indoor and outdoor sample results, we can better determine whether elevated mold levels or unusual mold types may be present inside the home or building.

  • Why is it important to test air quality?

Our air quality test shows exactly what your family is breathing. We winterize our homes for colder months, open all the windows and turn AC’s on in the warmer months! However, we don’t stop to think about everything building up in our house or what we allow in when we open the doors and windows to the let in outside air! With tighter homes, harmful gases, chemicals, allergens and other pollutants can quickly build up and reach unsafe, hazardous and even fatal levels.
